Cleveland Heights Tigers Varsity defeated Lorain HS 1-0 on Monday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Justin Rink induced a groundout from Dominique Thompson to finish off the game.

The pitching was strong on both sides. Cleveland Heights Tigers Varsity pitchers struck out 12, while Tyrus Brewer sat down seven.

One bright spot for Lorain HS was a single by N Antus in the first inning.
